Who Am I & What Do I Do?

I am 32 and live in Glasgow, Scotland. For those of you who don’t know much about Scotland it rains all the time and the summer lasts around 3 weeks if your lucky. It also has some of the greatest golf courses in the world and is home of golf. Fat lot of good when there to expensive to play on, lol. 

I currently work part time as a database programmer for a large clinical research organisation and have done for the last 6 years. Yes I got sucked into the IT boom like so many unfortunate souls. We where told we would work less ours and command our own pay checks, still waiting for that !!   

Before that I worked in a Lab within the manufacturing enviroment, sounded good but it really sucked and was minimum pay. They produced  fire proof boards for houses, ships etc. The amount of calcium silicon I must have breathed in on that place I dread to think. So this was when I decided to study at night to get into the IT industry.

So Why Am I Here?

Because I have had enough of being a slave to the grindstone. The 9 to 5 routine. I want to be my own boss and work my own hours. No more having to rush to an office on time, no more dodging the stampeding traffic. The biggest slap in the face for me was going to college for years to train in IT combined with a few years on the job experience and then find out that factory workers and tradesman were earning a lot more. If I could have turned back times I would have become a tradesman. I am not a greedy person, but every month your watching your pay cheque, your sacrificing holidays abroad, your sacrificing social nights out in order just to get by, but at the end of the month your still left with nothing. Thats when things really hit home its time for a change.

My Previous Experience With Internet Marketing

Now I am not going to lie I have done some internet marketing before but with little success and a lot of failure. I have probable been in this game half heart idly since 2006. I spent thousands on ebooks, training and wasted countless hours. The most I made was around £100 from selling some  ebooks. A lot of effort for little money.

I also like most people dabbled on Ebay I used to sell tickets for events. Made a little cash, but the effort just wasn’t worth it. Don’t hate me for that I was no tout I could end up selling tickets for almost nothing just to get rid of them. 

I have some experience with search engine optimization. I have been able to rank for keywords and get to the first page of google and still make very little cash.

I always knew money could be made from internet marketing I previously done a coaching program with a very well respected marketer called John Thornhill. You could say John was my first mentor. I learned a ton of stuff from John, but due to a couple of family bereavements which seen me quit IM for a year or so, I have never really set the wheels in motion with what I learned, but I plan to implement what I learned in the near future.

So in my quest for freedom in July this year (2009) I received an e-mail in my inbox from John Thornhill it was about a guy called Alex Jeffrey who was launcing his 2nd coaching program. I have to be honest I had never heard of this so called internet marketing guru before, was it becasue I left the scene for a while ow what I had to find out more. Who was this Alex Jeffrey’s character, who was this guy from Wales who can have a prelaunch video for his coaching program showing  photographs with him and almost every top in top internet marketing gurus in the world. Where they fake? , I knew I needed a Mentor, my mind was racing so I did extensive on the internet and I could only see good words about him, success stories from previous students of his. My mind was at ease now I wanted on so bam I didn’t waste a minute and signed up and thats why I am here.

Why Should You Follow My Blog?

Because I am going to take you through my journey with Alex Jeffreys Coaching program I am gonnae share what I am learning whats working for me and whats not. I don’t want you to go through what I once did. This is in my blood and here for success and I am here until I make it !!

Remember Internet Marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It took me years to realise this!!
