Alex Jeffrey’s Coaching: Week 1 Forward To Basics
So today was the first live coaching session which I had with Alex Jeffrey and all I can say is wow, my head is buzzing with excitement and that’s even with me not getting to bed until sometime after 4am. The teaching session started at 11pm and finished at 1 in the morning, but then Alex held a question and answer session which went on until around 4 in the morning. It was daylight before I hit the hay. This guy is truly amazing, who else would do that for their students. So in the first lesson Alex basically talked about structuring your business. You have to treat your internet marketing career as any other business, because after all that’s what it is. You have to plan ahead and get organised, because after all if you don’t know where your going how do you get there. Set goals. If you don’t your a busy fool. I can really associate with this up until this point I was exactly that "a busy fool". I had no focus. I would spend most my days surfing the net checking my e-mails, spending my cash on the next "get rich quick scheme" and end up only ever paying cash out to other marketers rather than focus on my own business. Anything I have done online before I have never planned, but this all makes perfect sense in the real life corporate world if businesses never planned thier work load how would they acheive the the end target, the answer quite simply is they wouldn’t they would melt down and make no money, just like the internet marketers who say they can’t make money online. Everything you do online you must plan, plan,plan;
- Organise your next year out.
- Break it down into 4, 90 day plans.
- Break the first 90 day plan down into a 4 week plan.
- Then break down week 1 into daily tasks.
And always plan tomorrow today, sorry I can’t say it enough !! Alex even talked about working in a well lit room with no distractions and to drink plenty of water and to time yourself on any tasks you do. He even recommended getting a countdown timer to make this easier. You know what’s really hit me is this is real basic stuff which people, myself included have neglected "The actual basics". "An Idiot Without A Plan Will Always Beat A Genius Without A Plan" Please feel free to leave any comments I would love to hear your feedback.
